We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Reception staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Rooms are very roomy. We had the apartment and a suite. Very comfortable, warm, all we needed. Couldn't have been more handy to shopping centre, waterfront and fab restaraunts. Literally.only a couple min walk to everything. Def our "go to " place to stay when we return to Napier.

At our point of checking in, we were warmly greeted by Yvonne, and explained the layout of the hotel. Our room was well appointed and warm. The location is just magic for us. What a great place to stay. The hotel room was a great size. Bed was comfortable and the show was amazing. We had a view of the garden including the pigeons :) We walked most places we needed as it was so central to everything. Yvonne was so lovely. Welcoming and friendly each time we saw her. I stayed here for 2 days while visiting Napier. Expressotel were very accommodating as I only booked on the day of my arrival. I stayed in a room facing the city shops which suited me fine as it was extremely quiet. The location was perfect for my needs, it was walking distance to where ever I needed to go. My room was warm, clean and quiet. My room in particular wasn't against the corridor so I couldn't hear other guests walking down to their rooms, that was a big plus for me.
Loved it will definitely be my preferred choice of accomodation in this city.

I stayed in a balcony room. Room was large. Balcony was great to sit and watch the sun go down. View over the park was great, I could hear the Carrilon bells going. I booked direct so Expressotel paid for my parking at the building over the road. Great location, I easily walked to the Theatre, and the ocean and out for a meal. Staff on the desk were very friendly and helpful. I loved the big black cabinet with the glass handles!

I loved my stay here, the staff were awesome, I had a gig in Napier that weeknd but wasn’t going to get in to Napier on time to check in as we were playing at 8pm and 3 hours drive away, so the guy checked me in over the phone and left key behind the desk which was a god send otherwise I would have been late to my own gig, so yeah bloody legends and I’ll deff be using expressotel next time we play up there forsure ??

The room was very nice and clean, tidy and modern. We had everything you'd need for a short stay. The location is good for the main street of Napier for shopping. The reception was very warm and welcoming and helpful. There is limited parking behind the hotel which was quite narrow but plenty of parking around the hotel.

Really cool place to stay. Got up with the sun every morning between 5 and 6. Room was extremely comfortable, would have liked bigger cups and another armchair but that is minor..

We booked 2 rooms to attend my EIT Graduation. Right from the very first phone call I encountered excellent professional, friendly, accommodating service. We encountered more than our fair share of hurdles with a vehicle breakdown, sourcing a replacement vehicle, late arrival.We couldn't have wished for better service. I have stayed in a number of International hotels & expressotel is definitely up there with the best of those. The rooms were perfectly presented, clean & tidy, immaculate bathrooms and even the coffee was great - not cheap quality. The lighting in the rooms & soundproof quality of the rooms was brilliant. Thank you to the housekeeping staff - especially Yvonne on front desk service. I would highly recommend expressotel for your stay in Napier.
So easy to get to everything in the city. We parked our car and wandered the streets of Napier high and low. Very clean, comfortable bed, very compact bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay at expressotel Napier.

Great central location, easy walk to nice eateries, beautifully clean room. A lovely lady greeted us on arrival and advised us they would pay for our parking across the road! How good! The one complaint I did have is about the shower. Great pressure but the noise coming from the plumbing was so noisy, I'm surprised it didn't wake everyone on our floor. Besides that, everything was perfect, especially the price of the 2 rooms we stayed in. Thank you, we will be back!

Recently stayed a couple of nights with the family, will definitely stay again. We normally stay elsewhere but the prices were crazy high so I looked around and came across this place for a good price to be honest I wasn't expecting too much for the price I did pay but I was pleasantly surprised how well presented the rooms were plus how comfortable the place felt. Even more of a bonus it's just a short tiny walk to the main shopping area. You're met by a lovely lady on the front desk who's every helpful/welcoming.. only downfall we found with the place is the tight parking glad we didn't bring our ute otherwise it would have been a nightmare getting in and out . There is a parking building across the road unsure if we could have parked there though.

Awesome accomodation, close to marine parade and accessible to everything. I just wish they didn't throw away my plastic bag as I was going to use it to put some stuff. also parking is not an issue.

I stay here every six weeks when I am through with work. Staff are great and the rooms are well appointment and very comfy. Happily recommend going down to the Irish Rose for a drink which is owned by the same group. Around 5 mins walk from the main shopping area and great cafes..

Stayed overnight at Expressotel as part of a work trip and I loved it! Check in was a breeze and the lady on the desk was fantastic and very helpful and very friendly. Parking (if you have a car) is beside the hotel and is limited BUT they will pay for parking across the road in the parking building. My room was upstairs but easily accessible by the elevator or by the stairs. The room was small but perfect for my needs. Bed was comfy. Aircon was perfect. Shower was fantastic ? and the town centre was a very short walk away. After hours (from 7PM) to the hotel is a breeze and accessible by the green door to the side but all is explained to you on arrival. I'm coming back here again.

In town for work and got a nicely appointed room. Modern bathroom and spotless. On back of hotel so is quiet atm. New aircon and can adjust temp and settings myself. Impressed. Short walk to lots of eateries, shopping and water front. Happy with that for an overnight option...would use for a weekend away. On fab art deco street.

Location was excellent and close (easy walking distance) to everything in the city. Found the rooms to be clean, modern and comfortable and our corner room was well positioned for the afternoon sunshine. Great accommodating hosts and the parking suited us perfectly.

The hotel was quiet and beautiful to stay in. Very simple and well set out, very clean. The lady on reception was very helpful and suggested her favorite cafe for breakfast, which was amazing also. All staff that we spoke to were super friendly and just made for a wonderful stay.
We had a lovely stay, room was great, great location close to town, easy parking. We want to say a special thanks to the lovely Yvonne at reception for making our weekend away possible.
